CAROLINE PALMSTEDT is the Leadership & Performance Lead at Monsanto, Asia Africa where she heads the Talent Performance &Leadership & Learning development, across Asia Pacific, India, China and Africa. She is member of the Monsanto Global Change Management core team as well as member of the Global Inclusion Strategy core team. Previously she held the role of Talent Management Lead, Monsanto Asia Pacific and Regional Director Asia at NeuroLeadeship Institute, a leading global human performance development research and educational institute, connecting research knowledge with the fields of leadership development, performance & talent management and behavioral change management. Caroline also held the position Regional Head of Practice Change Management with Ericsson Telecommunications, South East Asia; spearheading a Transformational Leadership Change program, part of Ericsson’s global business operation strategy launch.
The initiative drew learning from neuroscience in developing brain friendly change framework enabling sustainable behavioral change. Caroline has extensive corporate experience with more than 20 years of leadership experience in large multinational companies, with cultural exposure having worked for American, European and Asian companies. She was the Chief Financial Offer at Previa Healthcare, and Regional Finance Manager at Johnson & Johnson. Caroline is passionate about neuroscience and its contribution to transformational leadership behavioral change.
She keynotes and writes articles on the topic as well as devotes her spare-time developing young Asian talent for the next generation’s leaders. Originally from Sweden she has lived and worked in Singapore since 2006. She holds a Post Graduate Degree in Neuroscience of Leadership, Middlesex University, London and a Diploma in Finance Accounting. She recently completed the Executive Masters in the Neuroscience of Leadership.
