Tarun has been part of REHAU Pte Ltd (a leading polymers and chemicals manufacturer), since mid 2015, in the capacity of Head of HR - Asia & Pacific region covering all aspects of Human Resources from Information Systems, Compensation and Benefits, Staffing, Mergers and Acquisitions, Talent Management, and Business Partner. He has been leading his 30+ strong team that is dispersed across various geographies in the development and execution of the Human Resources strategic plans and initiatives to support the business strategies and promote a unified company culture. He is responsible for overseeing the planning, designing, and execution of HR services and programs that are aligned with functional business strategies. His peers say that Tarun is an individual with immense passion, ability and organizational skill to make human resources a competitive advantage that can be relied on by the executive team. Prior to joining REHAU, Tarun was working with Haworth Inc initially in the capacity of Group HR Director and then later promoted to Group Sales Director for Channel Markets reporting directly to the CEO for Haworth Asia. Prior to that he was in the Technology sector with Seagate Technologies since 2007; reporting directly to the HR Vice President for Seagate, Asia. where he was accountable for providing consultancy to various business units within Seagate. Tarun's career spans multiple continents as well as multiple industries from 3M, to advertising giant like Ogilvy & Mather and then everybody's all time dream company Lucasfilms (Star Wars fame) where he was the Information Technology Director. Yes, Tarun spent half his career in Information Technology before making a career switch to Human Resources."
